Multiple paths splitting ahead of me
I don’t know which of them should be taken
They go every direction I can see
Still, I face them unworried and unshaken.
No matter which path I end up choosing
My life will take a different direction.
I find it to be strangely amusing
My standing here, at life’s intersection.
Society says life’s about choices
With end results based on how we choose
When choosing right, everyone rejoices
When choosing wrong, we have to pay our dues.
I say it’s not what direction I take,
But, how I handle the decision I make.
